About The Salon

Welcome to The Powder Room Cosmetics website. My name is Amy McElroy and I live in Ardboe, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, along with my husband and boys.

I have always had a passion for makeup & beauty so in 2014, along with my job at that time, I trained as a Beauty Therapist. It was the best decision I made and I’m so glad I did it.

I started out in a spare bedroom in my house. From there I built up my clientele over the years along with completing new courses so I could bring new treatments for my clientele and customers. As my business progressed, I outgrew my room so I decided to build my own salon (I remember being so nervous making that move).

In 2019, my beautiful salon was built and it is exactly how I imagined it would to be. I’m still completing more courses to bring to my clientele, as there is always room for learning and updating my skills.

I'm forever grateful for my clients...all this would be impossible without you. You're not only my clients, you are my best friends.
